Overview

Regina Silva is an experienced employment litigator, who has represented employers in the defense of matters for almost 25 years.

Regina represents employers of all sizes and in various industries. Her representation includes the defense of single plaintiff matters, such as harassment and discrimination, wrongful termination, failure to accommodate, and retaliation. She has handled matters before state and federal administrative agencies and courts. Over her years of practice, Regina has obtained favorable decisions on demurrers and motions for summary judgment. She has also prevailed on multiple bench and jury trials.

Regina takes a strategic approach to her defense of matters, and has been able to resolve high stakes matters against some of the top employment practitioners in the state. As part of her representative matters, she has handled wage and hour cases, including class and PAGA actions, and matters filed with the DLSE. Regina has succeeded on multiple motions to compel arbitration, and recently persuaded the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to reverse a district court’s ruling denying her client’s motion to compel arbitration. She also represents agricultural clients on employment-related cases, and has further appeared before the ALRB on labor matters.

Additionally, Regina regularly handles arbitration matters.

Prior to joining Littler, Regina was a partner at an Am Law 200 firm, where she represented employers in all types of litigation before state and federal courts and administrative agencies.
