Overview

Raquel Zilberman Rotman counsels and advises employers on labor and employment matters, with a focus on single plaintiff litigation. She represents employers in a variety of employment disputes, including discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour litigation. Raquel also focuses on Paid Family and Medical Leave programs, as well as disability accommodations.

During law school, where she concentrated in Employment and Labor Law, she participated in a USD Appellate Clinic, litigating an appeal in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Raquel was chief comments editor for the San Diego International Law Journal and a judicial extern for the Hon. Anthony J. Battaglia of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. She gained valuable experience on the Associate Board of the Appellate Moot Court, as well as being a semifinalist in the 2019 Jessup International Law Competition, U.S. Pacific Regional.
