Overview

Marília Nascimento Minicucci advises employers in a wide range of labor issues, including expatriate matters, drafting bonuses, premiums and stock option plans. She assists clients in mass dismissals, negotiating private and collective agreements, and HR issues. Additionally, she reviews drafts and adapts international codes of conduct, employee handbooks, salary and promotions plans, and outsourcing agreements to comply with Brazilian legislation.

Marília handles negotiations and mediation with the Labor Prosecutor's Office and the Ministry of Economy; assisting clients in investigations led by the Ministry of Economy and the Labor Prosecutor's Office. She assists clients with new COVID-19 regulations, and audits companies in relation to labor and compliance, discrimination, and other matters. In litigation, Marília is focused on class actions and lawsuits filed by high corporate executives and expatriates. She also pursues the ratification of extrajudicial agreements, for full release, in labor courts.

Previously, Marília was a partner at Mattos Engelberg law firm and has worked in the following law firms: Demarest e Almeida Advogados, Machado Meyer Sendacz & Opice Advogados, Pinheiro Neto Advogados, Siqueira Castro Advogados and Mesquita Barros Advogados. She was a Labor Law teacher at Brazilian Business School from 2011 to 2012, for the specialization class in Human Relations.
